Participant registration covers participation and attendance at all scientific sessions, visit to ErgoLympic and Exhibition, attendance to Special Interest Group (SiG) meetings, tea/coffee breaks and lunch


Submission of Proposals

Parallel Presentation

A full paper of about 8-15 pages should include an abstract, statement of the research objectives and significance, research background, description of methods, research finding and discussion of results, conclusion and implications for future work

Poster Presentation

An abstract of 500 words should state the objective and significance of the presentation, method, discussion of results and conclusion.

Tutorials and Workshops

An abstract of 800 words should state the objective, learning outcomes, content, target audience, bio-sketch of the presenter(s) and audio-visual requirements.

Panels and Specials Sessions

An abstarct of 800 words should state the objective, content, target audience, bio-sketch of the panelists and session moderator

Demonstrations and Practitioner Sessions

An abstract of 500 words should include the essence of the planned presentation. Author is responsible for equipment needed in the demonstration


Sponsors of the conference may be assigned an exhibition space based on their sponsership catergory.

Product Competition

An abstract of 500 words should state the objective, significance, functionality and utility of the product, a description of the product on design, material, HFE and safety features.

Instructions for Submission

All submissions will be peer reviewed. Accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings published by Springer for indexing by Scopus. Abstract only submission will also be reviewed and included in the conference booklet published by HFEM.
