Submission of Proposals

Parallel Presentation

A full paper of about 8-15 pages should include an abstract, statement of the research objectives and significance, research background, description of methods, research finding and discussion of results, conclusion and implications for future work.

Panels and Specials Sessions

An abstract of 500-800 words should state the objective, content, target audience, bio-sketch of the panelists and session moderator.

Poster Presentation

An abstract of 500-800 words should state the objective and significance of the presentation, method, discussion of results and conclusion.

Tutorials and Workshops

An abstract of 500-800 words should state the objective, learning outcomes, content, target audience, bio-sketch of the presenter(s) and audio-visual requirements.

Product Competition

An abstract of 500-800 words should state the objective, significance, functionality and utility of the product, a description of the product on design, material, HFE and safety features. See ErgoLympic for details of the competition.

Demonstrations and Practitioner Sessions

An abstract of 500-800 words should include the essence of the planned presentation. Author is responsible for equipment needed in the demonstration.

Exhibitions

Sponsors of the conference may be assigned an exhibition space based on their sponsorship category.

Conference tracks and topics

To facilitate quality reviewing, and to assign reviewers, authors will be required to select one main track for each submission. It is important for authors to carefully select the track as it will have an impact on how the submission is evaluated and which reviewers are assigned. While author will suggest a primary track, the scientific chair may move the paper to a different track to improve fit.

Papers may have overlap between tracks; thereby, authors are encouraged to consider the main contribution of the work using this brief rule of thumb:

All submissions will be peer reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee. Accepted FULL papers will be published in the conference proceedings published by Springer and indexing by Scopus.

Abstract Only submission will also be reviewed and included in the conference booklet published by HFEJ.
