Special Panel

With hybrid work becoming a norm, a key development in 2023 will be the transformation of the workplace. Every office is now doing a revamp to solution that better support hybrid work. In this panel, speakers will discuss on design solutions and strategies to enable employees to stay productive anywhere and anytime.  KC Yong will talk about Dell User Experience for Hybrid Work. He will share various design solutions to address the common struggles a Hybrid workers face.  Dr Frank Qiu will share on the following areas:
  • How to design a digital platform with good experience to support hybrid work and business operation. 
  • How can we leverage AI for online training and knowledge sharing.
  • What will AI and ChatGPT technology impact user experience and UX professionals.
Edwin & Lydia will share how Chubb (Global Insurance Company) improved User Experience in their Singapore office by implementing measures to enhance hot zone working environments. Their initiatives included flexible workspace design, ergonomic furniture and equipment, advanced technology infrastructure, collaborative tools and software, and employee well-being initiatives. These efforts were intended to create an environment that fosters productivity, collaboration, and employee well-being. Keynes will talk about designing experiences for building management systems. He will also share how did the pandemic impact the expectations of workers now that conditions have normalized.
Dr Halimahtun Khalid will demonstrate the research on Trusting Humanoid Robots in Human-Robot Interaction which she had conducted over three years. The project was sponsored by US Air Force, AOARD. In addition, there may be demonstrations from Aerodyne and Cyberdyne on their robotic and drone products as well as exoskeletons.
